11: FROM THE GROUND                            


All through the night I had a strange dream
A fine rain was falling down from my ceiling
Now that it’s light I’ve got a feeling
Something is coming something I need and
One thing is sure I’m gonna soon know
   
Can’t stick around here I’ve got to be gone
Walk through the walls pulling my tie on
The voice in my head says “time to be leaving”
Open my front door what am I seeing?
After the rain here comes the rainbow

You can take me now far from the ground from all I’ve known
Bridge of colored light you lead me on you bring me home

Higher I climb lighter my head feels
Merge into color my figure surreal
She’s waiting for me out in the halo
Gone undercover we act like we don’t know
